Davis Hingtgen, CPA, AIF^®

I joined Certified Financial Group in 2025 as an Associate Advisor on Gary Abely's team. My background includes a Bachelor of Business Administration and a Master of Professional Accounting from Emory University, where I also competed on the varsity golf team. After graduation, I began my career in public accounting with KPMG's audit practice, and after 3 years in the industry I decided I was ready for a change. What ultimately drew me to the financial planning profession was the opportunity to build meaningful relationships and help clients navigate complex financial situations with confidence.

My experience in accounting and financial analysis, combined with my background as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), allows me to bring a tax-focused perspective to financial planning. I also hold the Accredited Investment Fiduciary® (AIF®) designation and work with clients on a wide range of planning needs, including retirement planning, investment management, and tax-efficient wealth strategies.

Born and raised in Orlando, I am proud to serve clients in the community I call home. Outside of work, I enjoy playing golf and tennis, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.
