Top-Rated Financial Advisory Firms of 2025

The CNBC FA 100 ranking is compiled by CNBC in partnership with data provider AccuPoint Solutions. The initial list began with 40,563 registered investment advisory firms sourced from the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) regulatory database. After applying CNBC’s proprietary methodology and screening criteria—including regulatory history, years in business, number of employees and advisors, number of CFP® professionals, total and discretionary assets under management, number of accounts, and states of registration—the list was narrowed to 1,015 firms. These firms were invited to complete a detailed survey. Final rankings were determined based on a weighted scoring model developed by CNBC, applied to both public and survey data.
Certified Financial Group did not pay any fee to be considered or included in the ranking. CNBC does not charge advisory firms to participate in or be listed in the FA 100 ranking.
