Should You Use AI For Investing Decisions?

AI is becoming a popular go-to for financial questions. You can ask it about investing, retirement, or almost anything else and get an answer in seconds.

While that is helpful, you have to know the difference between getting information and getting personal advice.

You see, AI only knows what you tell it.

It probably doesn’t know much about your family, your goals, or how you may feel when the market suddenly drops. Not to mention, AI will occasionally give you the wrong answer or just agree with something you already believe.

A financial professional can do something different.

They get to know you personally and help you see things you may have missed. That also means they may sometimes tell you something you don’t necessarily want to hear.

That doesn’t mean AI doesn’t have its place.  It can be used for learning, researching, and even preparing questions before meeting with your financial professional.

Maybe the answer isn’t choosing one over the other. AI can help you become more informed, while a financial professional can help you apply that information to your own life.
