Harry Stadelmayer

Harry Stadelmayer, CFP®, AIF®

Since joining CFG in 1986, I’ve had the privilege of helping clients navigate retirement planning, tax strategies, long-term care planning, and wealth accumulation. As a CFP® professional and an Accredited Investment Fiduciary® designee, I believe good planning is about more than numbers. It’s about helping people feel confident in their decisions and prepared for the future.

I serve as an Investment Advisory Representative of Certified Advisory Corp, a Registered Investment Advisor, where I provide financial planning and investment management for a fee. Over the years, I’ve also enjoyed sharing financial guidance beyond the office as co-host of On The Money! on 107.3FM and 580AM WDBO and as a speaker for various organizations throughout the community.

My path into this profession began very differently. I was born in Michigan to my parents who both immigrated from Germany. German was my first language, and I grew up alongside my sister in a family shaped by strong values, hard work, and deep appreciation for opportunity. I also studied violin and trumpet, attended college in Michigan on a music scholarship, and was honored to receive the Louis Armstrong Jazz Award in 1978.

In 1984, I moved to Orlando to help open and develop Bally Health Clubs. That experience taught me a great deal about leadership, service, and building relationships, but it also led me to realize I wanted a more personal and lasting way to make an impact. In 1986, I made the decision to change career paths and began studying to become a financial advisor. That decision ultimately led me to CFG, where I found the work I was meant to do.

Outside of my professional life, I’ve always valued staying involved in the Central Florida community. I’m a member of First Baptist Church of Orlando and have been connected to the Arnold Palmer Invitational for more than 30 years. Over that time, I have served as Chairman of the event, and today I continue my involvement as a starter. Golf has also been a lifelong passion of mine. I still compete in tournaments with the Florida State Golf Association, am a member of Heathrow Legacy Country Club, and past President of the Men’s Golf Association. For more than 20 years, I’ve also served as a Bowl Scout with Florida Citrus Sports.

After four decades in this profession, what I still enjoy most is the opportunity to build long-term relationships and help people move through life’s transitions with greater clarity and confidence.
